HYPER JET AIRPORTS CLOSED DOWN

In the final battle to overthrow the goverment of Bangkadia thousands of anti-government supporters have stormed into the Hyper Jet airports of the captial Paramall.As a result the two airports had to be closed down with many tourists stranded unable to get back home after their holidays.
Meanwhile President Som escaped to the northern city Cha Chi and was last seen playing the ancient Earth game of golf!

Final Battle

Civil war between the north and south of Bangakia is imminent as the final battle to take over Bangkadia is likely to occur this week.The anti-government demonstators are planning a final attack to overthrow the Bangkadian Government.

Torrential rains hits Paramall

Torrential rains hit the city of Paramall causing flash floods in the centre of the city.Meanwhile President Som ignores the current economic crisis and visits the new city of Chi Mai to opens the biggest new aquarium on Planet Bangkadia;which has some of the wierdest sea creatures ever seen from the Ocean Krab.

Riots break out in Bangkadia

Riots broke out last night in the centre of Paramall and rapidly spread to the outer cities of Bangkadia and two anti-government supporters were gunned down in cold blood..The riots were a reaction to the appointment of Som as the new President of Bankadia.

Well the government of Bangkadia have recently chosen Som as the new President but it's really that corrupt Taki in disguise!

President Sam has sensationally been kicked out of power and sent back to the kitchen where he can cause havoc to his heart's content."Stay in the kitchen"shouted the population of Bangkadia when informed of the news.

State of Emergency

No water,no power,no public transport,widespread demonstrations and one man shot dead;the city of Paramall is at a standstill and Bangkadia is on the brink of collapse.
The protestors have taken over the State Government building and yet President Sam clings onto power.

WALL-E

The other day while listening to my library of downloads from that planet Earth I came across this masterpiece of 20th Century film making,"WALL-E" a superior piece of animation; is Bangkadia heading the same way as Earth? to end up as a dumping ground for the technological waste from our neighbouring planets;it looks like it with all those computers dumped in the lake just opposite me!
Anyway I couldn't resist watching Wall-e.

Politician escape into exile

Politician escapes into exile;yet another embarrassment for President Sam(or did he engineer the whole thing so he could muck up the political situation by himself?)
Actually Sam doesn't seem very bothered aboput the whole thing saying"There's no policy'when asked about what he would do to capture the fugitive.


In the current court case involving Thaki and his alien lover,Thaki's wife was sentenced to three years in prison no doubt her husband will do all he can do to make sure she avoids going behind bars.Taki was due to be in court to answer further charges of corruption but Taki and his lover both managed to escape in his private spaceship.And here am I still stuck on this wet humid sticky planet.

Where is President Sam?

Hiding in the toilet or is he cooking up another culinary delight in the kitchen in some TV studio?

Sport crazy!

Well the Planet Cimba is going crazy with its sports!
Every forty years the whole of the planet goes on an Olympic sport marathon.
Fireworks at every sporting event;at least you're not likely to fall asleep from boredom.

Sam escapes to the toilet!

President Sam's behaviour is getting weirder and weirder;in a recent press conference he childishly went off to the toliet for two hours to escape questions of national importance:whilst rebels from our neighbouring planets are planning to bomb the major cities of Bangkadia.




These days Sam is more likely to found in the kitchen concocting a new recipe or hiding in the toilet;perhaps he's going to make a bombe surprise dessert to hit back at the rebels!

Any day now Sam is likely to be toppled from government.With the price of everything continually rising the people of Bangkadia have finally had enough with thousands of people out on the streets demonstrating against Sam and his policies and demanding his resignation.

Huge Galactic Storm devastates Planet Bopa

Most of the southern areas of the Planet Bopa have been destroyed

by massive floods after being hit by the Galactic Storm Naga.

However,the military government of Bopa are refusing any humanitarian help from it neighbourly planets.

Nearby planet Chi Chi has also been affected by the Galactic storm

huge earthquakes rippled though the south part of the planet

causing thousands of deaths.

Respite from the heat

Well in case anyone missed my blogging I'm back in the rainswept Bangkadia.
I've recently had a few weeks break in Maya on the other side of this planet.
The people of Maya are much friendlier than the people of Bangkadia.

"Let them eat chicken"

Seems President Sam is trying to emulate Louis XVI's Queen of France Marie Antoinette's famous remark when she told the poor Parisians of Earth in the 18th century to eat cake.The price of the Bangkadians's favourite food pork has shot up during the last few months and the President's only advice is to eat chicken as it's a lot cheaper.
Is his head about to be put on the chopping board ? ;
"off with his head"could be the Bangkodians reply to his recent comment.He should leave his comments in the kitchen.

Newspapers "alive and kicking!"

Newspapers are not dead and buried in some lost time capsule.They are well and truely 'Alive and kicking'.The Bangkadians fed up with ruining their eyesight with reading the news from a monitor have brought back the newpaper.
Last night at a huge star studded party a new free newspaper was launched to a fanfare of fireworks and glittery purple metallic tickertape shooting forth from the stage.
When the billowing smoke had cleared from the pyrotechnics:lined up at the front of the stage were the newspaper's production staff dressed in black suits and black sunglasses;reminiscent of the Earth science fiction film"Men in Black".
During the evening there were many Alien bands and singers entertaining the audience against the title of the newspaper "X-Planet" flickering across the screen.The newsaper has been based on the Earth newpaper "The Daily X-Press";the Bangkadians love copying and stealing ideas from other planets.

President takes a gamble

President Sam doesn't seem very sure of his position these days especially as the ex-President of Bangkadi "Square Face" Taki Sinatra recently returned from his exile in Chang Chang.
The ex-President even kissed the ground upon arriving at the Inter City station and a TV reporter reported the Taki's return as
President Taki's triumphant return to Bangkadia.

Double trouble

There's a double of me wandering the streets of Paramall,well driving around as he's a turbo taxi driver.The big problem is that he is a master criminal terrorising the citizens of City Paramall and I've sometimes been mistaken for him;only the other night I was barred from entering the nightclub Tuxedo Junction,as a couple of weeks ago my double in a drunken rage had hit the DJ for chatting up his girl friend and started a massive brawl on the dance floor.Luckily my good friend Andi Spidanni,another Earthling stranded on this planet,came to my rescue and vouched my identity.Well my double,Perrelli Banelli,commits of his crimes in Paramall but recently extended his activities to the outer suburbs of the city.Anyway I've decided to keep my identity chip in me at all times to avoid any more problems.I usually leave it on my desk as the chip when embedded in my forehead leaves a small rash on my skin.

GOURMET PRESIDENT SAM

The newly elected Bangkadian President, Sam Suniwari seems to have a bad memory especially when recalling past events in Bangkadian history;in an interview with a local TV channel he said only one person was killed in the university student demonstration at the beginning of this century;in fact at least 46 people were killed in the military crackdown.Lets hope he remembers the ingredients in his favourite recipes for his new weekly cooking chat show;apparently after the first show he was irritated that the viewers were able to see his fat belly and has asked for a desk when presenting the next show.President Sam is also annoyed that the Bangkadians still insist on calling him Apple Face.

THE SPACE WITHIN US

Last night I watched Paul McCartney's "The Space within US" documentary concert of the tour he did in the USA in 2005.I only watched the first part as I suddenly started feeling all hot and feverish;hope I'm not catching Bangkadian flu.
Luckily my music and film library wasn't destroyed when my spaceship crashed.
By the way I hadn't told you how I ended up on this planet;on the sixth month of the tour around the M5 constellation my spaceship had slipped through a worm hole at the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy and ended up crashing into the River Cha Cha of Planet Bangkadia.

ACROSS THE UNIVERSE

This morning I received a signal from my home planet 431 light years after it had been transmitted;it turned out to be the Beatles song "Across the Universe".For those ignorants Bangkadians who might be reading this The Beatles were the most successful pop group of the 1960's ,which is a hell of a very long time ago.Anyway back in the year 2008 on the 4th February Nasa did a double celebration:the 40th anniversary of the recording of "Across the Universe"and the 50th anniversary of the American space organisation NASA's space programme.A lot of Beatles fans participated in the event by playing the song at home at the same time of the transmission.By the way a video of the film"Across the Universe"also arrived with the signal from NASA ;I've already watched the film twice; it's absolutely brilliant,like a series of music videos which is set against a story of star-crossed lovers in the 1960's.

ANOTHER DAY ON PLANET BANGKADIA

The last three days it's been rainning quite a bit;unusual as it's almost the dry season only two seasons on this planet!The people here are usually pretty friendly and smile a lot but sometimes they're very rude and very pushy especially when boarding the inter city link trains.They never say excuse me they just say nothing and start pushing their way onto the trains.
