President Sam out!

President Sam has sensationally been kicked out of power and sent back to the kitchen where he can cause havoc to his heart's content."Stay in the kitchen"shouted the population of Bangkadia when informed of the news.

State of Emergency

No water,no power,no public transport,widespread demonstrations and one man shot dead;the city of Paramall is at a standstill and Bangkadia is on the brink of collapse.
The protestors have taken over the State Government building and yet President Sam clings onto power.

WALL-E

The other day while listening to my library of downloads from that planet Earth I came across this masterpiece of 20th Century film making,"WALL-E" a superior piece of animation; is Bangkadia heading the same way as Earth? to end up as a dumping ground for the technological waste from our neighbouring planets;it looks like it with all those computers dumped in the lake just opposite me!
Anyway I couldn't resist watching Wall-e.

Politician escape into exile

Politician escapes into exile;yet another embarrassment for President Sam(or did he engineer the whole thing so he could muck up the political situation by himself?)
Actually Sam doesn't seem very bothered aboput the whole thing saying"There's no policy'when asked about what he would do to capture the fugitive.


In the current court case involving Thaki and his alien lover,Thaki's wife was sentenced to three years in prison no doubt her husband will do all he can do to make sure she avoids going behind bars.Taki was due to be in court to answer further charges of corruption but Taki and his lover both managed to escape in his private spaceship.And here am I still stuck on this wet humid sticky planet.

Where is President Sam?

Hiding in the toilet or is he cooking up another culinary delight in the kitchen in some TV studio?

Sport crazy!

Well the Planet Cimba is going crazy with its sports!
Every forty years the whole of the planet goes on an Olympic sport marathon.
Fireworks at every sporting event;at least you're not likely to fall asleep from boredom.

Sam escapes to the toilet!

President Sam's behaviour is getting weirder and weirder;in a recent press conference he childishly went off to the toliet for two hours to escape questions of national importance:whilst rebels from our neighbouring planets are planning to bomb the major cities of Bangkadia.




These days Sam is more likely to found in the kitchen concocting a new recipe or hiding in the toilet;perhaps he's going to make a bombe surprise dessert to hit back at the rebels!

CATCHING UP ON THE FILMS OF 2008

Lately I've been catching up on the films of 2008 and there were very great films including the James Bond film "Quantum of Solace".
