Sam's days as President outnumbered

Any day now Sam is likely to be toppled from government.With the price of everything continually rising the people of Bangkadia have finally had enough with thousands of people out on the streets demonstrating against Sam and his policies and demanding his resignation.

Huge Galactic Storm devastates Planet Bopa

Most of the southern areas of the Planet Bopa have been destroyed

by massive floods after being hit by the Galactic Storm Naga.

However,the military government of Bopa are refusing any humanitarian help from it neighbourly planets.

Nearby planet Chi Chi has also been affected by the Galactic storm

huge earthquakes rippled though the south part of the planet

causing thousands of deaths.

Respite from the heat

Well in case anyone missed my blogging I'm back in the rainswept Bangkadia.
I've recently had a few weeks break in Maya on the other side of this planet.
The people of Maya are much friendlier than the people of Bangkadia.

"Let them eat chicken"

Seems President Sam is trying to emulate Louis XVI's Queen of France Marie Antoinette's famous remark when she told the poor Parisians of Earth in the 18th century to eat cake.The price of the Bangkadians's favourite food pork has shot up during the last few months and the President's only advice is to eat chicken as it's a lot cheaper.
Is his head about to be put on the chopping board ? ;
"off with his head"could be the Bangkodians reply to his recent comment.He should leave his comments in the kitchen.

Newspapers "alive and kicking!"

Newspapers are not dead and buried in some lost time capsule.They are well and truely 'Alive and kicking'.The Bangkadians fed up with ruining their eyesight with reading the news from a monitor have brought back the newpaper.
Last night at a huge star studded party a new free newspaper was launched to a fanfare of fireworks and glittery purple metallic tickertape shooting forth from the stage.
When the billowing smoke had cleared from the pyrotechnics:lined up at the front of the stage were the newspaper's production staff dressed in black suits and black sunglasses;reminiscent of the Earth science fiction film"Men in Black".
During the evening there were many Alien bands and singers entertaining the audience against the title of the newspaper "X-Planet" flickering across the screen.The newsaper has been based on the Earth newpaper "The Daily X-Press";the Bangkadians love copying and stealing ideas from other planets.

President takes a gamble

President Sam doesn't seem very sure of his position these days especially as the ex-President of Bangkadi "Square Face" Taki Sinatra recently returned from his exile in Chang Chang.
The ex-President even kissed the ground upon arriving at the Inter City station and a TV reporter reported the Taki's return as
President Taki's triumphant return to Bangkadia.

Double trouble

There's a double of me wandering the streets of Paramall,well driving around as he's a turbo taxi driver.The big problem is that he is a master criminal terrorising the citizens of City Paramall and I've sometimes been mistaken for him;only the other night I was barred from entering the nightclub Tuxedo Junction,as a couple of weeks ago my double in a drunken rage had hit the DJ for chatting up his girl friend and started a massive brawl on the dance floor.Luckily my good friend Andi Spidanni,another Earthling stranded on this planet,came to my rescue and vouched my identity.Well my double,Perrelli Banelli,commits of his crimes in Paramall but recently extended his activities to the outer suburbs of the city.Anyway I've decided to keep my identity chip in me at all times to avoid any more problems.I usually leave it on my desk as the chip when embedded in my forehead leaves a small rash on my skin.
